Flying to Oslo

The main airport servicing Oslo is Gardermoen (OSL). It is connected to the city centre by high- speed train. Torp Sandefjord (TRF) is considerably further away, but is served by Ryanair, sometimes making the flights cheaper.

Our accommodation will be available from late afternoon Friday 25th July 2025 until the morning of morning Sunday 3rd August 2025. Most of the group will arrive on the Friday and there is usually a group that arrives quite early in the morning, so don’t worry about being in a new city on your own.  Once we have everyone’s flight details we’ll try and connect those who are arriving at about the same time. If you are new to Norway Cup and there is nobody else arriving at the same time, we’ll make sure you have detailed directions.

Gardermoen is well connected to the city centre by bus and train.  There is an express train and a cheaper local train that takes a few minutes longer.  The trains take 20-25 minutes and the bus a little bit longer.  The bus from Torp takes about an hour and a half.  You’ll receive a contribution towards your travel from and to the airport in Norway with your match fee payment.

When booking flights please consider how much checked luggage you will need. It is almost impossible for a referee to bring enough kit with just hand luggage.

If you would like to stay longer, you will need to find your own accommodation. If you plan to arrive after the Friday and/or leave before the Sunday, please let us know before you book flights.
